2. The gateway to Chinatown

The Chinatown gate on Wardour Street, next to the W London Hotel, is another ultimate Instagrammable hot spot.

Did you know this gate is the largest one of only four in the whole of the UK?

The impressive structure was officially opened by the President of China, Xi Jinping. So, this is a must-see monument only seconds away from Leicester Square.

Gates like this are usually reserved for Royal palaces in China and so are made with meticulous care. All the wood used to create the gate is sourced from one mountainous area in Beijing, making this an extremely special structure.

Plus, the style is traditional with three tiers and two pillars and is from a unique Ching Dynasty design, including a golden dragon and the decorations embellished with 999 gold foil (the highest quality gold leaf available).
