Stick Man at LSQ Theatre

From Julia Donaldson, English writer, playwright, and former Children’s Laureate. Donaldson is well-known for her beloved rhyming stories including Room on the Broom, The Gruffalo, and Stick Man beautifully illustrated by Axel S Scheffler! The story has been adapted for the stage by Freckle Productions bringing this delightful tale full of live music, puppetry and funky moves sure to keep the kids glued to the stage. As the story goes, Stick Man leaves for his morning jog, but his day turns out to be quite the misadventure, from playing fetch with a dog to a swan using him to make his nest. Find out will Stick Man ever get back to the family tree in time for Christmas?

Pay a visit to the newest statue in Leicester Square, Clifford the Big Red Dog recently unveiled by star of the film actor and comedian, Jack Whitehall! Learn the story of a little dog who grows to an enormous size the more he is loved by his young owner Emily Elizabeth. As Emily Elizabeth discovers, rescues truly are a special breed, with their own unique character and quirks that make them so distinctive, just like Clifford and this statue is in aid of Battersea Dogs Home – who save rescues just like Clifford and help them find loving homes.
