Scultped by Samantha Wild, Batman is a one of the largest statues on the Scenes in the Square trail.

With so many great actors playing the character over the years, the Batman statue is representative of them all rather than just one.

The sculpt is based on comic book source material and direction provided by DC. Additional detail was sculpted into the design, including muscle definition, a determined facial expression, and a dramatically flowing cape.

Whilst the Dark Knight is typically seen in shades of black and grey, he has been realized in bronze to stand out against the night sky.

Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Batman will be released in cinemas in 2021. DC, Batman: TM & (C) DC.
