Calling all witches and wizards!
Harry Potter’s incredible legacy spans literature, film and theatre.
Now, the world’s most famous wizard has now been immortalised just metres away from where his very first film, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, premiered back in November 2001.
Joining the Scenes in the Square interactive film trail in the heart of Leicester Square, the statue depicts Harry Potter, played by Daniel Radcliffe, taking flight on his Nimbus 2000 broom in his debut Quidditch match. Radcliffe starred in all eight blockbuster films, culminating in Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows – Part 2 (2011).
Harry Potter, The Complete 8-Film Collection, is available from Warner Home Video.
